My name is Alex and I’m passionate about golf. I’ve been practicing this sport for 30 years and, like all other golfers, I’ve had great moments on golf courses, but they were few and far between. I’ve also had my painful moments, and they were far more frequent than I would like to admit.

Why should all passionate golfers feel humiliated when they miss their shots? No one likes being in that situation while their partners look down on them with pity or mockery in their eyes because they had a good shot.
Are we masochistic to expose ourselves to such disillusions?
After all, golf is an activity that we love to do and we’re passionate about. Shouldn’t it be a source of pure joy and happiness and a chance to share these emotions with our partners?

But most people - including myself - have resigned themselves to suffer in silence on the golf course.
The only joyful moments are rare and random and seem to happen magically. There is no rhyme or reason behind their existence.
One day, you play an excellent game, you have a few awesome drives and you feel like a king. You’re on top of the world.

This was the meat of my problem and I couldn’t figure out a solution.Like many others, I resigned myself to fate. My “quiet desperation” as Henry David Thoreau called it, had subconsciously become an integral part of my game.
Like everyone else, I started telling myself that I couldn’t succeed every time. One needs talent to play golf well, right? Golf wasn’t for me. Everything else was just false hopes and promises.

I’ve often wondered:
Wouldn’t there be someone amongst the millions of passionate golfers who would have already come up with a solution to this throbbing problem?
But right after asking myself that question, my mind got flooded with doubts about the existence of a solution. Maybe it was just wishful thinking…
Yet, deep down, I couldn’t help but focus on this secret desire. I intuitively knew that I was on the right track. Something was telling me that I wasn’t out looking for the impossible.

And that’s when the “miracle” happened…
I’m using the word “miracle” like Albert Einstein did when he said, “There are only two ways to live your life: as though nothing is a miracle, or as though everything is a miracle.”
And like every simple thing in life, this quote has a much deeper meaning than you may initially perceive.
It’s by deciding to change our perspective on things that things begin to change… But that’s an idea to debate another day.
So, during one of our brainstorming sessions, we found a video on the Internet. The video was from a golfer who didn’t look like a pro yet he was able to successfully hit the ball every time… while blindfolded!
Was he a gifted player?
Or was it his method?
His method, by the way, seemed a bit peculiar to say the least…So there we were, watching his video over and over again. That golfer was able to hit every ball perfectly, with a blindfold on!
If that wasn’t a miracle,
it certainly looked like one to us.
And it didn’t end there...
The icing on the cake? Once the blindfolded man took off his blindfold, we thought we recognized him… We couldn’t quite put a name to his face immediately, but he looked very familiar…
A few days later, we discovered that it was in fact Marcel Beliveau, the producer of the popular hidden camera show « Surprise Sur Prise » that aired around the world.

His TV show made millions of people laugh in France and French-speaking countries worldwide and it aired on prime time television.
TWe quickly contacted Marcel Beliveau who turned out to be a very charismatic and accessible man.
He immediately sent us everything we needed to test his revolutionary golf technique for ourselves.
In just one attempt, and without any assistance other than the explanations we received from Marcel, I immediately hit superb shots… consistently!
With traditional methods, it would have taken me years to reach the same results, and I’m not even talking about the random results you get from such traditional methods.

What is the Beliveau Method?
Remember that question I was asking myself earlier in my quest to find a solution to my golf problem? Marcel Beliveau had asked himself the same question but he went out of his way to find a solution by creating his own method.
Why should playing golf be difficult?

You may know some people who say that learning to play golf is like learning to ride a bicycle. Once you figure out how to maintain your balance, you don’t have to learn it again. That skill is yours for life…
That analogy is true for the Beliveau Method. Once you learn his golf swing mechanics, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel every time you hit a ball. The movement is always the same, and the ball will always go into a perfectly straight trajectory, each time you hit it.
You can’t say the same of traditional methods.
Since human beings are not robots, there are many reasons for missing a shot.
Let’s look at an example. Most of the time, missing a shot can be blamed on an overly fast backswing. The position of your hands at the top of the swing can create a slight variation, and end up either ‘shut’ or ‘open’. Upon impact, the results would be a ball with a trajectory to the right or left.

But with the Beliveau Method, you don’t have to worry about this:
You will systematically hit the ball and
it will stay in play and follow a straight trajectory.
In addition, the Beliveau Method is easy to learn. All you have to do is follow the steps, which are clearly explained.
There is no wrist or hip rotation. You go up and then down.
The club head will automatically position itself perpendicularly to ensure square impact during the downswing.A ball going in a straight trajectory will obviously go farther than a slice or a hook. When you slice or hook a ball, it can easily end up 65 to 100 ft (20 to 30 meters) away from your objective before returning to the center line. That’s a lot of wasted power and distance.
So what is the greatest difficulty in golf?
It lies with our individual morphology. Everyone is different. Some are taller, thinner, shorter, bigger, have longer arms, shorter legs… At the end of the day, no matter your body type, the success of your swing depends on only one thing: your shoulder rotation.
We all know that good shoulder rotation results in successful and powerful swings, and that’s not something that only Marcel’s method will confirm. Your shoulder absolutely must go under your chin and not rest on it. If you let it rest on it, you restrain your movement and significantly reduce your movement flow.
But this can’t happen to you
when you adopt this technique.
With the Beliveau Method, you know from the start that you will hit the ball and you will do so without getting exhausted.
I would even go as far as saying that when you fully understand his swing mechanics, you will be able to hit a ball with your eyes closed. Yes, with your eyes closed! That’s possible because the movement remains identical and the ball will follow the same trajectory.

PS Marcel passed away recently but you should know that he was never concerned with those who didn’t want to try his method. It didn’t matter to him if you had a score of over 100. He slept well at night but he knew that many golfers would have loved to play below 100.
He would have really enjoyed seeing everybody play at 80 OR BELOW. He knew from experience that it was possible for anyone to get such scores if they used the Beliveau Method.
